Our mission is to develop and integrate ground breaking technology into production road vehicles while promoting sustainable transport through the community at large. UWAFT has worked with a plethora of technologies over the years including Ethanol, Propane, Hydrogen and Electricity as energy sources. In 2008 UWAFT demonstrated the world`s first student designed and built fuel cell vehicle to pass on-road safety and competively engaged in all GM Proving Grounds tests (e.g., range, acceleration, braking, towing, lateral acceleration, emissions, handling).

EcoCAR 3 Background
